DJ equipment for begginers

Ever wondered what it was like to be a Dj? i did...it just came to me when i realized how much i like clubbing and listening to music. I always wondered what it was like so i started checking it out on you tube, and asked my friend about it a couple days ago. So i said to myself "hey why not??" It would make a great hobby and can be a lucrative one too. I can probably just start at house parties and work my way up to the club scene when my skills improve. My friend recommended the Numark NS7, it looks great but it's way too expensive and probably not a good investment yet for a beginner dj like me. i mean it would be great to have already since it has everything in it, but the size and weight of the thing. it's not very portable.

I like portability so i'm looking at either getting the DDJ Ergo V or the IDJ live for the IPAD...BUT i might just get the pioneer DDJ Ergo V since it looks easy to set up and doesn't require a lot of space and doesn't feel like a toy. I saw the NS7 that my friend has and that thing was big and heavy. definitely not something i want in my small room. Isn't it a beauty? I read pretty good reviews with this one.

I'm pretty excited to buy one already so i can start practicing along with the You tube tutorials. Thanks to all the people who take the time to make video tutorials on you tube it seems like you can do and be ANYTHING you want to be. As for me, i want to be a DJ ^_^ Something i have to try in my lifetime.
